Feb 7th Meeting

Looks like nasty weather again for Monday Morning.    We will go at 9:20 and 
see how it goes.   
I am sending out a draft of the aup via email in the morning.    I am also ready to
share out the staff skills list.   
Kari should be sharing some info on the tech use in the Elementary.

Anyway it is late and we will see you all in the morning.

January 7th Meeting

Web Survey Email Wording
Look at new website.

I need to make sure our email invite to staff is worded appropriately.

Current Timeline

Survey. Out this week

Start thinking about how we will ask staff about our current adoption of standards.
Next meeting will be in the HS on January 21 7:30 am. I will have survey info by that time.

Meeting Dec. 9th

Discuss Timeline:
January -- Staff Skill assessment along with a survey of what standards are being addressed at each grade level k-8. Results of Skill assessment will be shared to identify the helpers.
February -- Web Site Turnover.. New site should launch. AUP Drafted and finalized.
March -- Look at new NETS standards. Align our current with new nets. Make additions and subtractions including the HS standards.
May -- Publish new tech plan including gradelevel standards k-11.

Meeting Nov. 26th

Discussion focused around the following:
Check with teachers to see what standards they are meeting.
We need to have an idea what is going on. Best way to do this?

Discusses Add photoshop into staff set of skills. May be appropriate for some not all. Filemaker to staff sets -- There are some basic skills but creating your own will is a powerful tool.

Skeleton Standards -- for 9 - 12 -- We need to start with the 8th grade as a basis for this.
Where are these standards reinforced?

Online Analysis After Break - Staff skill sets will be measured

Meeting Nov. 12 Notes
Handed out copy of tech plan. Discussed what we need to do from this point forward.
Reviewed Goals For 07 - 08:
1. Rewriting of the Tech Plan -- Including expectation Grades 9-11
2. Peer Coaching - Identifying important skills for staff and developing a measurement tool.
3. Rewriting the AUP

One thing that came up in our discussion is the check out procedure for equipment in High School. Hindy and Osty are going to collaborate and try to emulate what is being done in the Middle School.
